Smart TVs sit firmly at the top of the corporate gifting budget range, which means they're almost never a broad-rollout gift — the right use case is a short, deliberate list: flagship client appreciation, top-performer incentive programs, or a retirement gift for a long-serving senior employee.
Because the spend is substantial, the decision usually comes down to screen size and brand rather than feature specs that matter more at lower price points — a reputable mainstream brand at a sensible size (32–43 inches for most gifting contexts) outperforms a larger screen from a less recognised brand at the same price.
Delivery is the part companies most often underestimate. TVs need careful handling, often benefit from installation support, and simply take longer to coordinate than a small-parcel gift — build at least a week of extra lead time into any TV gifting plan, more during festive season.
If budget allows for only a handful of TV-tier gifts, it's worth being explicit internally about the selection criteria (tenure, performance, deal size) — a visibly arbitrary choice of recipients undermines the goodwill a gift this size is meant to generate.
